Saves a LOT of energy
"A friend recommended these because she lives in the Great Basins and Ranges and said they saved a BUNDLE on winter hear and summer cooling. I moved into an Uncles house that was built in the late 1860's-70's so insulation was not present. The windows make up the majority of all 4 outside walls - these drapes paid for themselves the first MONTH - well, OK, the first TWO months -- they worked so well, that I ordered more to use in doorways to 'section' off the house for heating and cooling when power goes out -- The drapes are amazing, and so was the service I received from the company -- I hear the insulated blackout curtains are not going to be made anymore because of cost - and that kind of breaks my heart --"
